“Other Information” is any information that does not reveal your specific identity or does not directly relate to an individual, such as Sports Booker pitch usage data.

 

“Personal Information” is information that identifies you as an individual or relates to an identifiable person, such as name, postal address, telephone number, email address, it does not include strings of code such as browser cookie IDs.

 

“Client” is any business or entity that subscribes to a Sports Booker licence (or otherwise accesses or uses) our Software Service.

Where law allows for such a request, if you would like to request to access, correct, object to the use, restrict or delete Personal Information that you have previously provided to us, or if you would like to request to receive an electronic copy of your Personal Information for purposes of transmitting it to another company), you should first contact our Client whose business you are using. However, you may contact Sports Booker at support@sportsbooker.com with the subject line “Data Subject Request.” We will respond to your request consistent with applicable law.

 

For your protection, we may only implement requests with respect to the Personal Information associated with the particular email address that you use to send us your request. We will need to verify your identity before implementing your request. Where you are an End User (customer) of one of our Clients, Sports Booker will need to forward your request and refer you to your business provider who will deal with your request in the appropriate manner.

 

Please note that we may need to retain certain information for record keeping purposes and/or to complete any transactions that you began prior to requesting a change or deletion (e.g., when you make a purchase or enter a promotion code, you may not be able to change or delete the Personal Information provided until after the completion of such purchase or promotion).

 

There may also be residual information that will remain within our databases and other records, which will not be removed.

 

If you are a customer of one of our Clients and would no longer like to be contacted by the Client or would like request the exercise of a right as set out above in relation to Personal Information held by the Client, please contact the Client directly.

If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of this website may become inaccessible or not function properly. Please note that Sports Booker does not use website tracking cookies, but we do use server cookies to facilitate transactions.

We currently use third party payment processors as a Third Party Offering for online payment services. If you wish to make a payment through SPORTS BOOKER, your Personal Information may be collected by such processors directly and not by us and will be subject to the third party’s privacy policy. Data Retention

 

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

 

The Data Controller (the Client business) will determine the appropriate retention period for your personal data, we generally consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements. Each Data Controller will have

 

different requirements and parameters. By law we have to keep basic information about customers (including Contact, Identity, Financial and Transaction Data) for seven years after they cease being customers for tax purposes.

 

In some circumstances you can ask your data Controller to REDACT your personal data or anonymise your personal data (so that transaction data can no longer be associated with you) for statistical purposes in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.

 

Security of Your Information

 

The security of Personal Information is a high priority at SPORTS BOOKER. We seek to use all reasonable technical, administrative and physical safeguards to protect Personal Information within our organization. Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
